The WindRiver/Ft. Loudon Marina's Toys for Tots Lighted Boat Parade

We are happy to announce and share information on the lighted boat parade! This is an exciting event for our community but more importantly the children it supports. If you or your company is looking for a charity to support during this Holiday season, we hope you will choose USMC “Toys for Tots." We look forward in seeing all of you there!

The event in support of the USMC program Toys for Tots, will kick-off at 5:30 pm at WindRiver Marina (WindRiver Lakefront and Golf Community, Hwy 321, Lenoir City) with the lighted boat parade leaving on it's parade route to Ft. Loudon Marina and then returning to WindRiver at approx. 6:45 pm.

Santa & Mrs Claus will be present at WindRiver with small gifts for children 5:30 pm onwards and free hot dogs, potato chips and hot chocolate will be available to all. In return, we request all guests to bring at least one, new unwrapped toy suitable for children ages up to 14 years old (no stuffed toys please).

When the boats return, there will be a short awards ceremony for the best decorated boats, following which, there will be live entertainment provided by the band FREEQUENCY, and a cash bar serving "hot toddies" and all the usual "bar fare."

This is an extremely worthwhile charity event which for over 50 years has been providing toys to the less fortunate children in communities all around our country who without this program, would go without at Christmas. Please come out and join us with a toy, have some fun, and put a smile on the face of a needy child!
